This music has always brought tears to my eyes! For all my love of the "Ode to Joy," this is the most emotional work that I have ever experienced in my 86 years of life! I can listen to it many times in a row, and my eyes will be just as wet at the end as they were at the beginning. What a wonderful performance by a new to me orchestra!

So. Just like the rest of you fantastic people I come back on the odd occasion to listen to this magnificent piece of music. And this magnificent organ! What a machine. That 32ft really rubbing away! But I can’t be the only one who thinks the orchestra could be a little bit better, you know making sure they are at least playing playing the right notes at the start I note 1:09. But then at the same time I can’t really complain because I don’t play an instrument anymore. I just feel they could have put a bit more effort into it. And yes I realise it was 10 years ago. But overall still a fantastic recording especially organ wise
